Copy identifiers before summarizing

Keep punctuation, suffixes and revision labels in the research record, even if the article later uses a shorter name. A tidy headline must not erase a distinction that matters to the source. When two pages disagree, retain both addresses and describe the disagreement instead of combining them into a new specification.

Compare documents rather than appearances

A similar enclosure or promotional photograph does not prove shared electronics, liquid formulation or firmware. Visual resemblance can help locate a candidate document; it cannot close an identity question. Treat packaging text and model identifiers as separate observations with their own provenance.

Our publishing rule

A device-specific assertion needs a device-specific source. If the file only supports the brand identity, publish a brand note. If a later document clarifies a suffix, add a revision with its date and source. We do not assign performance scores to these public-source records.
