The e-portal of the Saudi Ministry of Haj and Umrah has received more than 594,000 applications from citizens and expatriates to perform Haj this year.
Authorities say seats reserved for low-cost services completely filled up two hours after the services were announced. Read: Domestic registration for Hajj now open
The portal which was launched on May 30, for domestic pilgrims offers the facilitation of low-cost Haj services.
The portal will accept applications until the cut-off date on August 18.
Fees should be paid within 48 hours of applying or the reservations will be canceled.
